Is cubase capable of processing vocals to get that
pitched up sound you here on alot of the funk records? how do you do this? Do you need an efx
box?????????????????........help please I need
this sound!

Hmmm....

Dunno exactly know what kind of sound you mean, but
you can pitch shift audio tracks (voice parts) and use
a formant mode. Check out different effects settings, as well.

I made some vocal- effects with Opcode´s PlugIn Vocoder.
But you can use the free Steinberg PlugIn Transmitter
and Chopper as well to reach some really cool vocal effects in combination with the pitch shift function.
