I've recycled a drum loop, from 128 to 130bpm,
saved in about 16 slices and imported as a rex
file into vst. Positioned it nicely, then closed
the cubase song. When I opened it again the
message 'audio: hard disc 1/0 error, file position
error' appeared. Funny thing is if I remove the
track containing the drum loop then drag the sound
from the audio pool and reposition it, it plays
fine. So it's not the file itself, or even the way
cubase is referencing it. It seems like vst just
can't remember the positioning of the loop

well, maybe the seperate slices are to frequent for the drive to handle...... i'd save the slices as a newly mixed down full length -loop
