If you record (ping pong) 3 different midi tracks to one audio track do you lose quailty??

MY mixes don't sound as good as theyu did before mix??? Playing my midi and audio drums sounds great, but after mix, mushed? Not clear?

Do you record directly from your soundcard into wave-track or do you use external equipment, connected to line-in of your sound- / digital I/O card?

What soundcard do you use?

Any effects from your soundcard´s DSP active from beyond?

Ciao
