Alright, I've got a bassline running over two bars that roughly goes (1)D (8)F (16)F# (24)F...hope that makes sense?
Now I've been trying to lay chords over this in a trip hop/DnB sorta style(quite dark) but they sound shit.
Can anyone suggest some chords to compliment this pattern? Should I use all minor chords to make it sound darker? I can provide a midi file or wav of the bassline if it helps.
