Hey! i have been hearing so much about how the 505 can make incredible custum drum kits. would like some tips on creation and implimentation.

i have a basic sampler, the Korg ES-1, but i wanna untilize the possibilites of the 505, just cuz i have heard great results in other peoples music that have implemented the 505 for rythm

well, im not some cyber-jackass, just a lucky beathead who found a tight resource and is trying to exploit it. i am just throwing out questions, why not try and learn something, instead of having to worry about what kind of jock-status impression i am going to exude...fuck impression management.

Damn, i'm considered a cool moderator! Good to know ;)

The 5o5 can be tweaked to create some nice snares and hh, the bass drums tend to not be its strong point. They can be tweaked and made pretty nice, but many 5o5er's have been looking elsewhere's for the bass kick and use the rest of the sounds.
