If you have a *really* good machine. It might perform reasonably well, but its main appeal is that you can have sample banks as big as a gig - well whoopie. Thats overkill only really useful if you want a full orchestra sampled stereo at 44100, with no looping. A mates got it, and I had aplay, but id much rather have my yammy box....
