I read in my manual of the su10 sampler from yamaha that it's possible to save samples via midi dump to a midi data filter tool, but is it possible to save to da pc 2?

yeah, I should imagine so providing you have the correct software. On soundforge 4.5, you could most probably do the dump using the generic mds setting in the tools==>sampler menu. No doubt other programs will allow it too.

setup a midi loop (samp out to pc in / samp in to pc out), midi dumps are mono only and dead, dead slow btw.
