Anyone know how I import an entire Akai CD Rom onto a different hardrive (not C) but still have access to them via the sampler instrument list on the exs24?

Cheers.

use cdxtract (cost) to convert the akai cd into exs24 format, or use exs manager (free) after you've converted the akai in logic to move the audio and change the sampler instrument file.

shortcuts work on a pc. alias on a mac i think. and it doesnt matter where the samples themselves are. you can put them anywhere but all on one drive is pretty neccesary for reasons of sanity and speed.
