Sorry, was that a joke Groovemunkey? You seriously can't be saying that Blair isn't a strong/good leader can you? He just gave the speech of his life yesterday. I'm prepared to argue this point very strongly. Any further comments or you just making a silly statement?

Well, for a man who is leading the worlds most powerful military force, it's a bit of a surprise that he can't even operate the most basic piece of military equipment... binocular lense-caps:

The US put Saddam through college. Couldn't we have better educated Bush?

I don't think there was every any hope for that creature. Bad-genes. I'd say mal-nutrition as well, but I imagine the Bushes have allways eaten rather well. In fact, he seems to suffer the same deficiencies as Prince Charles. There are a lot of similarities.

Regards.

Steve.

haven't we been over how night-vision binoculars are used during the day once already? Not that I'm defending dubya's intellect, but...

I watched that Blair thing and was amazed by his ability to express his thoughts in complete coherent sentences -- something I haven't heard a western leader do much since Bubba left office.

Yeah... ol' Tony may be an idiot but he can be a damned good speaker. Sometimes he doesn't sound quite as sincere as you would expect from a leader, but more often than not, he can put a very good case down.

Unfortunately, it would seem that the more articulate US presidents end up getting shot.

Regards.

Steve.

it's like those alledged quotes made by bush, like : "it's time for the
human race to enter the solar system."

no one can be THAT stupid, right ?

i mean, he's bringing democracy to the middle east, freedom of fear and all.

Okay, question time.

How many of you have ever used binoculars more than 3 or 4 times? Raise your hands. (I'd say 2/3s)

How many of you can honestly say you've NEVER forgotten to remove the lenscaps first? That's what I thought.

They shuffle that little twerp all over the place at an amazingly high-paced schedule. Photo-ops are about 3 seconds apiece and you're bound to get bloopers like these as a result. Give the man a fucking break.

He's an idiot. We get it. Time to start thinking about more important things, or at least focusing our energies in a positive direction.

It gets old. Rant over. I hate him, too.

Then instead of doing 3 second photo ops maybe he should think of more important things to do and focus his energy in a positive direction.

night vision binoculars have little slits in the lens caps that cuts the incoming light waaaay down for use during the day.

What are you on about d? Night vision bins, that are used in the day, use different lenses. A small slit in the lens cap (to keep out the light) has nothing to do with it.

Read an article that said U.N. did nothing when a million people were slaughtered in Rwanda in the 90's. Article said Boutrous Ghali, then president of U.N. from Egypt was the one that sold the weopons to the killers in 1990. Bush is evil, but so is every one else. Power corrupts and as far as I can see every country has an ulterior motive. The U.N. isn't some lofty egalitarian body of noblemen who's only wish is universal justice. Its composed of countries who all have a love of $$$, and their own self-serving agenda's. Given the track record of the human race could we really expect anything else.

i have a vertex in cancer so it means my life has been filled with this creature (don't know mike tyson though). if you know anything about the myth of the crab...it ends up sacrificing itself trying to defend a being which it feels great indebtitude towards. in greek myth...the crab dies protecting the medusa from jason or hercules (i forget which). likewise> king george is the presently-reigning boy-champion of the old-world-order of greed and might (white & right). the puppeteer is, in essence, the entire coalition of daddy, donald, dick...the whole good ol boy network....kenny included. spearheaded by the us armed forces and more covert branches a la cia (dad's boat)...and now the justice department governed by ashcroft...we have the penultimate medusa on our hands.

i've yet to know a cancer who seemed destined for good things (talk to me any of you who is one and wants to know more). i've almost been killed trying to ward off the destruction my such-good-friends were headed for. a dangerous way to live. saddam is a cancer too. bush jr has leo on the rise which makes him quite imperious and blind....again the emperor. his sun in the twelfth house-of-undoing is often considered an indicator of the potential for great evil.

get out your prayer capsules.

All by spiritual links were joined to all
And bound indissolubly to the One:
Each was unique but took all lives as its own,
And, following out these tones of the Infinite,
Recognised in himself the universe.
