I have a Roland JV1010 and i would like to export the sounds as MP3 or WAVE that i have recorded with JV1010 .
When i try to do that in cubase VST/32 i can only export audio or VST instruments, the sounds that i recorded with Roland are not there, itīs quiet.

HELP....

haha...oskar...thanks for making me feel like i almost know something!!!
anyway...i just wanted to say i'm finally getting a grasp of my cubase 5.0 that i acquired from noah.
again thanks noah!

does anybody have any tips as to how to keep the thing running at opimum efficiency on an old 266 g3 mac?
i know midi filtering helps.
how about memory alottment? should i boost minimum memory or just boost preferred size?

how about midi-note resolution?

i got cubase-power upstairs with me but i still havent' got some answers.

I dont use a mac so you'll have to get that elsewhere, but I always use a resolution which is enuff for the music i'm doing. I dont see a need for high res if it's not needed.

yeah Oskar, you need to feed the JV outputs IN to your soundcard L/R Input, then record the audio, and then it's in the machine and will be able to be mixed down with all the other onboard audio

in fact, IF you have a fast asio/wdm driver soundcard that'll run at around 5ms latency you can feed the JV In to the pc permenantly, and mix it in the VST s/w mixer alongside all the other audio, adding fx etc in realtime... (I say that incase you are currently mixing your onboard pc-audio and the JV audio together on an external hardware mixer.)

To do that, all you have to do is put the stereo channel into monitor mode - a small button at the top of each mixer channel which you depress so it is lit (the same button which if you click it it offers you to choose which INPUT the channel is getting from a list of available inputs)
