Anyone have any experience in using a Packard Bell Easynote for sequencing and audio?
I am thinking of getting a E3265 (2GHz Athlon with 512 MB and 40GB HDD) to update my old desktop set up.
Are Packards problematic with audio apps?
Any help gratefully recieved.
Many thanks.

I wouldn't say that any particular brand of lappy is bad for audio, but I've known PB desktops to be full of shite software, most of which is for kids or home users who don't have a clue.

Most PB's are designed as the complete home computer, unless you're buying a 'souped up' model, so while the specs are good, you might want to consider wiping the hard disk when you get it and installing a clean copy of Windows, assuming you get a plain Windows XP (or whatever) Cd, and not a recovery Cd which will install the junk over again!

Anyway, good specs for a laptop, just watch the junk software hogging disk space and memory.

Si.
