Fuck this "Built Tough" behringer shit-

I have a MX 1604A and it will randomly just turn off- big pop then no sound- when I switch it off with the switch i get another huge pop and then back on again even louder- but sound is at least there. I've tried the alternate outputs and they pop off too- any ideas? I'm in the middle of a track too so this isn't great timing...

I don't think it is the power supply- when it does "cut off" the power light is still on, mute lights etc- alot of noise also picks up too.

Any ideas?

LEDs take a while to turn off once you cut their juice. When you power down the mixer normally, do they dim over a couple seconds? Point is, it could be a momentary lapse of power due to a faulty supply that would be too quick to affect LEDs, but would definitely be audible.

Sounds like an intermittent power supply, as the others have said. Do what psy says.

No- All the LEDS stay just like it is on when it cuts off. Normally when I power it off, the power/all leds snap off- these just stay on.
