I HAVE GOT A G4 IBOOK 1GHz WITH 640 RAM RUNNING ON LOGIC6 AUDIO. PHATMATIK PRO /410 FIREWIRE FROM M-AUDIO/OUT BOARD ,GEAR EMU MOPHATT DANCE SYNTH/YAMAHA,RMX1/ROLAND SP808GROOVE SAMPLER/KORG/TRIBEa1/SPIRIT FOLIO MIXER. been down the pc road and it always ended in tears n made me turn back2 my overheating atariST! not good.... so back 2 the point this 410 firewire interface is the best £325.00 i have ever spent n i have spent alot of time money about 10 years on all this trial n error electronic music lark. the 410 on the mac g4 has been optimised. the core drivers install with breeze and apple's set up assistant on screen help configures your card n logic with child like questions it really is childs play. once routings done in the environment window its a dream set up ie rock solid no laytencey probs. 2in's 10 outs/spdif+ co/xile 2 mic pre ams 2haedphone slots phantom power/ pans n pots and free software bundle inc mixer for410 n much more. some thing to remember if u let screen saver timeout 2 power save the core driver will drop out ie 410 has no sound just simply restart computer hay presto u is back in biz! and best of all u iz now 24/96khz sampling, wait 2 me tell me july!
