Can I run Reason 2.5 through Rewire on a PC running Logic Plat 5.5 and access the drum sounds and treat the drum synth like a normal vsti?

you can only mix them in logic via rewire, but still have to use reason's sequencer

Thanks Milan. Are the drum sounds as good as everything claims? And what, I can't sequence the drums in Logic? Is the drum sequencer good in Reason and can I have a kick on Instrument 1, snare on instrument 2, etc? Thanks for all the questions.

the reason samples are pretty good, yup. as for sequencing... reason drum machine has a typical roland 808/909 grid interface, which works well enough, or even reasons sequencer will do you right for drums, but i wouldnt wanna do a whole song in it (then again, lot of people do so maybe i'm just spoiled by using logic matrix editor for years now).

I used both and while not so advanced, Reason's sequencer is really gem, fast and effective. Just don't forget to press "alt" to put down some notes in "select" mode.
