I inserted the correct PCMCIA card for my Nord Lead1 synth. I
made sure write protect is off. I try to store 4 programs in
performance patches a-d and it will flash when I hit the store
button...I press store again to save and it does not stop flashing or
save. Please help.

Keep scrolling up.. There's a bank of ROM performances that are hard to figure out from the PCMCIA (writable) ones. If I remember right, you want to make sure you see the little dot in the corner of the display light up. I can check on mine later.
