i down loaded the superbass station and
drum station files, unzipped them, they opened cakewalk but a message popped up
saying... not a cakewalk file ????
am i doing something wrong.???

Seems very strange that cakewalk can not really comment on why they did not compute.

I suggest that you try loading other cakewalk files from their own site and establish if it is a problem with our files or or cakewalk.

I clicked on the drum station icon after unzipping it, and the file opened cakewalk,a message popped up saying >not a cakewalk format file ok<
i clicked on ok believing it had not worked, but i found later that infact
i've got a drum map in the piano roll. but what does the super bass station file do ?????

To load patches through Cakewalk I accessed them through the sysex dump.Go into the menu, find Sysex and then press load and then search for them through windows I managed it with Jv80 pathes so cannot see why it wouldn't work for the Bass Station.
