I play with a band (Sugardrive) and we use the
MC303 for playing backing tracks. In some songs
the verses consist of a single pattern 1 bar
repeated up to 60 times. So on SOME of these songs
the thing plays the verse pattern, and then as
the pattern is supposed to change it plays some
garbage for a bar while claiming to be playing the
pattern its supposed to be (ie, the 'current' pattern
display is correct). When the diplay changes to the
next pattern, it plays the previous one. Cool, eh?
This only happens if the machine plays similar
patterns for a long time (I've tried several subtly
different patterns and rotating them, and making one
LOOONG pattern-no luck). Also, if I increase the
tempo it works, so it's a TIME thing, not a number
of patterns thing.
I've also tried dumping everything onto another
303 and it does the same thing.

Anyone got any Ideas?
