I have just bought an XP-50 keyboard and hooked it into my midi-setup. It's connected into a MOTU Pocket Xpress. I'm waiting on a manual for the XP-50 and my problem is that I can't get sounds from more than 1 channel at a time from the keyboard. I think it's an Omni or Multi option that I've overlooked, but I can't find it in the menu screens.
I can only record and play back with Cakewalk on one channel if, for example I go into "System midi" and assign "receive channel" to channel 1 on the keyboard and record on channel 1 on the computer. Likewise if I assign receive channel 8 on the keyboard, I can only record and play back if I open channel 8 on the sequencer.

I hope I have explained the problem sufficiently for somebody to help me.
Also, does anybody have any opinions on Tascam's 24 channel M3700 automated desk? How much are they worth now? I picked one up and would like to know if anybody else has any advise.

John, Dublin.
