Just a quickie... Picked this up the other day for free, un-wanted... Blimey, I was surprised with some of the sounds once I fired her up - A superb box with some seriously banging kik drums.... Definately a good box for Hip-hop and you could get some damned good trance and house kiks out of this too (also does 808) - The RT-234 also has a percussion bank with some decent conga's, bongo's etc, and also does bass! - Yup like the old Korg DDD1 this box has a bass section where the pads become keys for playing tones. Bass sounds can be adjusted for timbre from slap to rounded & warm
All in all a great little box that can be had for peanuts:
