anyways i replaced it all just now... might as well - but somehow we need to get this forum working again, but how i dunno.... the 2 sites (dt & 7161) traffic is still good, we're getting plenty of signups everyday, week in week out, really good google placings for keywords, and the videos etc get good views.
The other thing is, look at the views counter for discussions on the forums here! - compare them to the views on sos or musicradar - they are as good as SOS or Musicradar forum discussion 'views' even without many posts being added. In fact in a way they are better because there seems to be a proportionately higher 'views to posts ratio' here if you check it, which must mean we've got more lurkers and passing thru visitors as a proportion of forum traffic than their sites have, but they have a better core regular-user count who actualy post.
So the traffic is there even for the forums, but not much actual postings, like people dont want to be first to try swimming in the crocodile infested lake.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

I notice alot of forums still - might be an idea to strip back for a while to : Music General / Hardware /
Software / Slaggit / Spam (For Sale, Artist Promotion etc)
Get the convo flowing firstly, then take it from there!
