Sure, "The Games" are rife with controversy (professional athletes should have no place in the Olympics), allegations of doping, and commentators doing everything in their power to politicize the opening ceremony - making themselves look even more foolish with their other remarks - but watching the faces of the kids who will be competing over the next couple of weeks is inspiring. Let wish all the best for all the athletes.

yeah, the olympics are all good. but its dead now. no one cares anymore. they
dont speak for themselves anymore. its like branding. maybe I'm an adult now and
dont feel it. maybe I'm pissed cuse USA lost to Italy in basketball. damn u sound
intelligent.

You know what I think is funny? The American olympic outfits are the Canadian
olympic outfits from the Sydney games! The clothing company that made them
(Roots) didn't change the designs at all! They just changed the colours and then
put USA instead of Canada on them! LOL!

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Is the Jamaican bobsled team going to be there this year? Apart from them the Olympics are nothing but another opportunity for "patriots" of the world to gloat on the one hand and gripe on the other. And of course it's pushed down our throats the whole time that it's all corporate sponsored.
