replace "emagic" with "apple" in your post, and you'll understand why they're abandoning a pretty open standard for an apple-proprietary one. And that's why I hate Apple and everything they make. OS-SHIT

After years of a user i'm beginning to hate
them too.Except the FCP software is the best
DV editing bar none.However i'm investigating
PC products and will be "switching" soon .

H- at least switching audio fronts
