Hi.... I recently reformatted my boot drive and reinstalled windows98. Upon firing up fruity Loops for the first time, I selected my audio outs but
next to the the name of all the outputs, it said "emulated" I started
playing around and noticed that the program was running VERY slow with
really choppy audio. I went in and changed the buffer and read ahead
settings and got it to actually play correctly without dropouts, but the
response is still very slow. when I reinstalled my os, Ialso switched to
updated drivers for my Echo Gina24 sound card. Is this a problem with the
new drivers? That si the only thing i can think of. I tried reinstalling
Fruity Lops but that did not. solve the problem. Just wondering what you
knowledgable people thought about this. ]

oh yeah, i'm using the original version of F.L. if that matters.

peace,
bricks

Hmmm... Thats strange. You're using Fruity
Loops version 1? I dont have very much
experience with that, but ....

Have you looked in your control panel/device
settings/hardware profile thing? To see if
there are problems with your settings there?

I dont know, if you think it may be a problem
with the drivers, try reinstalling the older
ones... Is it a legitimate copy of Floops? Email
them if it is... Maybe check the echo website,
for troubleshooting. Thats odd....
Dunno.
