folks and peoples are like, the two major gang divisions in Chicago. Like Disciples, etc. are Folks Nation, and a bunch of other gangs like Vice Lords are People.

Yes, I would have to agree with psylichon, saying hip reminds me of my parents.

One other word which doesn't get enough attention is gaylord. I'm trying to have it make a comeback.

"Folks are gaylords."

See, that doesn't sound like a gang, it sounds like I hate everyones parents. Why couldn't the Folks be "The Knifes" or "The Death Patrol", or something tougher?
