oh, you need a good guitarist then. I've heard some incredibly trippy shit pouring out of a set of strings with the right fx on the end of em. Almost enough to make me wanna learn myself. unbelievably expressive...

Yep,a good chunk of those players are
crap.Not to say they aren't technically proficient
but suck.The clash are good and so are the
police,and I have to give Jimi his props(can't
stand most of his music) but he did innovate
in the studio.Also ADF used guitars to great
effect and Dick Dale is just sick.I played guitar
for yrs and it just bores me now.

H- I still think that the best guitars are in
reggae.And i'veheard the trippy stuff,not as
impressed by it anymore.

isnt the guitar sorta...filler in reggae? I mean...the "and" guitar...never seemed all that impressive

and damballah you left out tony iommi (among others of course, but that guy sure did some cool stuff!)

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
