Native Instruments 'Pro Five' is the earlier version of the current 'Pro 52' and it's an imitation of the famous Sequential Circuits Pro_Five synth - This earlier version is without a few features of the new improved Pro_52, such as the external IN and the syncable delay section etc, but still a great VSTi synth...32 note poly, mono-timbrel, 2 osc' plus noise, sync-able LFo etc...
This is a killer VSTi Synth and shows NI's usual quality with a crisp clear & deep sound... great for everything from fine or thick synth strings to stacatto synth patterns such as for trance etc, and basses & pad's... and great all rounder & excellent!!... The new Pro_52 is also a standalone & DXi synth etc..

I always wanted to get a prophet 5.
This is one of my dream synth since I
was a little kid. However, There are
some reliability problems and lack of
midi specs. And it's also very
expensive. Therefore, I wasn't ready to
get a real prophet5. Well, after few
years later, this dream machine came
out as VST instrument for Mac and I was
hooked. This actually has more
advantages than a real thing you know.
More polys, effects, more memory and
the best thing is, it is very reliable
and very cheap.
I'll strongly recommend you to buy it
however, one day, if I can find one
with perfect mint condition, I going to
get it. It's just matter of time.
