I'm gonna add all the old vintage synths... not that i've used them all myself.. but i'm gonna dd the spec's then people can add comments based on real-life use.... so , as i had nothing to do today, i thought i'd start to add them as basic page templates... then add the spec's later....so...The Roland SH-3A..... please add your comments

This was my first ever synth, purchased used in the early 1980's, and I've had a lot of fun experimenting with it. It can be heard on the first three tracks of The Unknown Eyes myspace page. Like most people, I love the fat, rich sound I can get with the sh3a and have used it as a bass on many recorded tracks. It is a monophonic or lead synth, and easy to manipulate, once it's understood how to work all the levers and knobs. It's built into a heavy case, which in my situation, is pretty dinged up from road use, but all in all, it's been a real workhorse! Mars 10/04/09

hi!
i just want you to know that roland is my tool for work...
i play in a band called THE HONG KONG BLOOD OPERA from Hermosillo
México and we use the roland sh-3a as the bass, we don't use acustic
bass, we do it with this analog synth plugged directly to a bass amp
and it sounds very very very very strong, is like the soul
of the songs, you can visit our myspace to get the idea, just put our
name in google and you will find it in no time...
but we are very sad right now because my roland sh3a doesn't work
any more because it was broken in an airport when we was touring
and we don't have another to use, i have been looking and searching
for another sh 3a and there is no one left in the earth!!
and you know, we just can't replace that synth with an acustic bass,
it wont be the same...
i took borrowed a synth roland sh 09 but WE NEED the sh 3a to sound
the full potencial of the songs.
so PLEASE, if you know where a can get another sh 3a PLEASE email us
back :(
